Delete Your AQVIK Account

Deleting your account is permanent. Your financial records cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us. If you only want to remove certain records, see “Deleting individual records” below.
Request deletion by email
Email support@aqvik.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
We verify the request came from the registered address, then delete the account within 30 days. We confirm by email when it is done.
Deleting individual records
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete any of the following individually, at any time:
- Transactions — income, expenses, transfers, lending and borrowing records
- Accounts, categories and recurring entries
- Budgets, goals and investment holdings
- Group and shared-expense entries
- AI conversations and remembered preferences
Each deletion is immediate and syncs across every device signed in to your account.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

| Security audit records — sign-in times and account actions, with no financial detail | 90 days, then deleted | Fraud and abuse investigation. Required to protect other users. |
| Anonymous error and crash reports | 90 days, then deleted | These carry no name, email or financial data and cannot be linked back to you after deletion. |
| Encrypted backups | Deleted data ages out within 90 days | Backups rotate on a fixed schedule and are not restored selectively. |
Nothing retained above can be used to reconstruct your financial records or identify you once your account is deleted.
